At NWA Home Healthcare, we provide high quality, reliable home healthcare services for EEOICPA "white card" covered and private-pay clients in the Lynchburg, VA area. Whether you need skilled nursing care, a home health aide, companion care, or training for a loved one serving as a home care assistant, we have you covered. 

Our licensed medical professionals work with you and your doctor to develop and manage a personalized home healthcare plan that’s most convenient for you.

Who We Serve

We serve qualified EEOICPA program beneficiaries who have received their "white card". 

These individuals must have been employed at a covered atomic weapons facility, like BWXT, during a covered time period. They must also have been diagnosed with cancer or one of the covered conditions as a result of exposure to radiation, beryllium, or silica while employed at the covered facility.

Our Services

We are an enrolled DOL EEOICPA medical services provider offering NO-COST Skilled Nursing and Home Health Aide services to "white card" holders.

We also provide Personal Care Attendant training to current family members. Your loved one can receive education, support, and compensation as a home caregiver.

Skilled Nursing (RN/LPN)

  • Assess patients’ condition
  • Takes vital signs and reviews medications  
  • Administer medications 
  • Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing
  • Coordinate with other care providers
  • Provide palliative care to keep the patient comfortable
  • Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests

Home Health Aide/Personal Care Attendant

  • Monitors patient's condition
  • Housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping services
  • Personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Teaches patients care for themselves 
  • Teaches family members to care for the patient 
  • Maintains patient journal
  • Reports changes in status to nursing supervisor
